'FINALLY': He is set to take over from Theresa May as Prime Minister

Theresa May held back tears as she resigned as Prime Minster during an emotional speech this morning. Speaking outside Number 10 she said she had "done her best" but admitted it was clear that "it is in the best interests of the country to have a new Prime Minister".

But as they country waited for her announcement, many found themselves slightly distracted by another person outside the famous house.

The sound technician tasked with setting up the microphones was a hit with people on social media, and he soon had the nickname 'Hot Sound Guy' on Twitter .
Many people are even calling for him to take over from Mrs May as PM, saying they think he could do a better job.
Even though he was clearly very busy setting everything up, he did crack a smile as he stood in the PM's position and tested everything was working.
Other people joked that the screen grab of him outside the famous door would make the perfect Tinder profile if he's on the dating app.
During her speech Mrs May announced she will quit her job on June 7 -  after a UK State Visit by Donald Trump  and D-Day commemorations are safely over.
It comes after almost three years of Brexit gridlock including a new compromise Brexit plan with a possible second referendum.
Her exit will trigger a Tory leadership contest that gets under way next week, with Boris Johnson leading the frontrunners.
Mrs May left Downing Street after the announcement.
She was driven out by the rear exit accompanied by her husband Philip and escorted by a convoy of unmarked police cars.
