A 15-year-old boy was shot while walking to school Wednesday morning in the South Chicago neighborhood.
Police said the boy was walking to school near 90th and Brandon around 8:35 a.m. when he was shot multiple times.
He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
Police did not have any further information about the circumstances of the shooting, or a description of the shooter.
Area Central detectives were investigating.
