President Trump tweeted multiple times today expressing frustration at Democrats following their White House infrastructure meeting yesterday and his subsequent press conference.
Some background: In a “Dear Colleagues” letter yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi characterized Trump as having a “temper tantrum” during the meeting, which he continues to dispute today.
Today, Trump has taken to framing the Democrats as the “do-nothing party." He also directed Democrats to “move quickly” in finishing investigations so they can “get the REAL work of the people done.”
I was extremely calm yesterday with my meeting with Pelosi and Schumer, knowing that they would say I was raging, which they always do, along with their partner, the Fake News Media. Well, so many stories about the meeting use the Rage narrative anyway - Fake & Corrupt Press!
